Drug and Alcohol Recognition Training for Supervisors

Ms. Knutson will provide training that covers the requirements of 49 CFR Section 382.603 which states in part that “all persons designated to supervise drivers receive at least 60 minutes of training on alcohol misuse and at least an additional 60 minutes of training on controlled substances use.” The training includes: In-depth descriptions of signs, symptoms, behaviors, etc. that could indicate drug or alcohol is being used; Steps supervisors should take when they suspect employees of drug or alcohol use, including documenting; Consequences of refusing to test, positive tests, the SAP and other DOT concerns.
Fee:
$75.00 per person - Member of LCSC’s Random Drug & Alcohol Testing Consortium
$125.00 per person - Non-Member
Boxed lunch will be provided for attendees.
Attendees will receive a certificate of training.
